Craig Holdrege, Ph.D., is The Nature Institute's director and spearheaded its founding in 1998. He carries out studies of animals and plants that tell the story of these organisms as dynamic and integrated beings within the larger web of life. Craig gives talks and workshops in the US and Europe on the topics of genetics and genetic engineering, whole organism biology, science and nature education, and the methodology of “delicate empiricism.”
